Policy Retention
Our mission is to bring clients great service. One of our greatest achievements is our policy retention rate. We retain as much as 70% of our business over a two year period. To us, this indicates that our clients are satisfied with our service. We submit almost 1000 policies per month. Our lapse rate is extremely low considering the economic climate in South Africa. The 30% business we lose is mostly as a result of non-payments and lapses. It’s normal in the insurance industry to have business dissipate over time. We see our retention rate as a massive achievement.

Multiple Branches
In 2014, InSHoor™ opened a second branch. We extended our financial offerings and opened a new branch in Krugersdorp, JHB. Our second branch was formed to focus on long-term business. We are proud to have the opportunity to grow. We hope that we will have branches all over South Africa in the next five years. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, we started working remotely. Our technology allows us to work from anywhere in the world. Our system records all communication with our clients in a secure remote location. This allows us to be flexible in all aspects of our business.
A passion for our providers…
Every year, from 2012 to 2019, we won the award for the top AVBOB broker in South Africa. We sold our first policy as a company in late 2011. This achievement is one of our proudest moments. Since our first acceptance of this award in 2012, we won the award every year to date. We expect to keep this going for as long as we can. We hope to get the award every year going forward. Considering that there are 1000’s of brokers who offer this product, we feel that this award is a major achievement and something to be very proud of. This award is not just about sales, it is also about the passion for what we do.
Hollard – My Life & More
In 2014, Hollard Life approached us. They gave us a great opportunity. They asked us to be one of only six pilots for a new product. Due to our dynamic approach to insurance, they knew we would be an asset to the team. They made us part of the venture even before they had a product. To us, this was a clear indication that we were doing something right. Hollard Life is a respected company. Being part of a pilot program for them is a great feeling.
Uplifting Our Staff Members
Our greatest achievement is empowering the community. We care deeply for all our staff members. We have been able to train and educate many people in the finance industry. We have been a stepping-stone for some, and a home for others. We feel privileged to help the community grow. About 80% of our staff members have been with us since our inception. Our team of handpicked staff members helped make us who we are today. We hope to pay them back by promoting within the company in the near future.
